Way before we got to the last line I was like "okay can you get to the point now? you're just wasting everyone's time by beating around the bush and repeating yourself but in slightly different words" i imagine it must have felt even worse in person.

I start getting nervous any time someone starts telling me the importance of beauty and tradition

Beauty and tradition are both extremely important. But what nobody but me seems to understand is that those concepts both ought to be marshalled in favor of transgender women.

Oh Hali, you're like if there was fascism for transsexuality. I absolutely adore you.

not a fascist!!!! I think actually tolerance is one of the most beautiful things humanity has ever arrived at.

This has pretty much been my experience with religion so far. Everything has to be right and just according to a personal interpretation of a text much too old to be useful interpersonally these days. Any sense of nuance is stripped, and so begins the holier than thou finger pointing.

Oh my god you brought back so many memories of my grandparents bringing me to church when I was a kid, reading this made me feel exactly how I felt back then which was incredibly bored lol

well, it's a special place that we have here together, and I'm so glad that you could be here with us, and so i think it would be only fair for you as a visitor to the flock to be first up for the nipple cutting, so why dont you come right up?

No I don't think I will. My body is my body and my choice is my choice and what I want to do with it isn't that.
